Limericks

There was a young fellow of Perth,
Who was born on the day of his birth;
He was married, they say,
On his wife's wedding day,
And he died when he quitted the earth.

I really like limericks, I think they are very fun. Do you know any limericks? Or maybe you could write one for me!

Bob that just made me think of last Friday when we were getting our anthrax vaccinations. They gave us a questionnaire asking Where we received our last shot. My chief told me I couldn't put, in my arm.

I don't think that quite falls under "limerick," does it? It is cute though. :)

You are right, a limerick, to be a limerick, must have; 5 lines of which lines 1,2 and 5 rhyme and have a rhythmical pattern of three groups stressed and unstressed syllables and lines 3 and 4 rhyme and have only 2 groups of stressed and unstressed syllables.

:)
